# Getting started

Learn how to access realXmarket, create an account, and use the app.

You can access realXmarket from a web browser or the mobile app. Before approving transactions, verify your identity. Connect the mobile app by scanning a QR code.

### Web

Open realXmarket in any web browser. Before verification, you can browse the marketplace, FAQs, Help, and documentation.

### Connecting mobile

Download the mobile app from Google Play or the App Store. Then select **Connect** in the browser's upper-right corner and scan the QR code.

### Mobile

When you open the app, review the risk warning and available options.

### Create account

Provide your details and complete the KYC/AML and risk questionnaires to activate your account.

#### Create account password

Create a unique password with 6–20 characters.

#### Select user role

Select the role that best describes you to start the KYC/AML process.

#### Enter information

Enter your email address. We send a code to this address to start KYC.

#### Risk warning and questionnaire

Complete the questionnaire to assess your suitability for property investment.

There are two possible outcomes:

* **Fail:** A message explains that property investment may not suit you.
* **Pass:** Review and accept the declaration to continue creating your account.

After accepting the declaration, review the privacy notice, terms, and agreement.

#### Privacy, terms, and agreement

After passing the questionnaire, read each document. Scroll to the bottom and select **Accept** for each one.

After signing all documents, provide consent to start verification.

### KYC/AML and liveness

Sumsub performs identity verification and liveness checks.

### General

**Banner:** A security warning highlights the financial risks. Select **Take 2 mins to learn more** for full investment-risk details.

* **Upper-right icons**
  * **Notifications** – View important alerts and investment updates.
  * **QR scanner** – Scan account addresses or QR codes.
  * **Menu** – Open the extended menu and settings.

### My Account

* View your **investment summary** at a glance.
* Select the **balance arrow** to view your tokens, manage your account, and configure payment integrations.
* Use the **bottom tabs**:
  * **My Account** – Access your personal profile and app settings.
  * **Help** – Get support or create a ticket.
  * **Marketplace** – Browse and invest in real estate property tokens.

### Settings

Use **Settings** to manage account security, credentials, and helpful resources.

#### Show Mnemonics

This is your **secret backup phrase** for restoring your account.

1. Select **Show mnemonics**.
2. Confirm your identity using Face ID, a passcode, or a similar method.
3. Record the 12- or 24-word mnemonic phrase in a secure location.

#### Manage DID

Use this section to view and manage your **Decentralized Identifier (DID)**. Your DID links your communications, documents, and investments.

The following options are available.

#### DID Mnemonics

These 12 words are your DID **backup**. Use them to recover your DID when needed.

1. Select **Manage DID** in **Settings**.
2. View your **DID mnemonics**.
3. Record them in a secure location.

#### What are mnemonics?

Select **What are mnemonics?** to view an explanation of mnemonic phrases and their purpose.

#### What are DIDs?

DIDs act as a **secure digital ID** for Web3 applications.

Select **What are DIDs?** to learn how realXmarket uses DIDs.

Your DID helps you control your personal data and its use.

#### Delete DID

To **remove your identity** from the app:

1. Select **Delete DID**.
2. Confirm the permanent deletion.

#### Log Out (Delete Private Key)

This option signs you out and permanently removes your wallet from the device.
